My name is Jimmy Ward, and I am an independent Location Sound Mixer and Post Sound Editor/Re-Recording Mixer.

I have been involved in audio for about 12 years, with formal and self-taught education. After years of learning and recording, I became an Avid Pro Tools User Certified in 2018 and have continued to edit and mix various independent film projects since.

In 2021, after years of home studio recording and some student work,  I started taking location sound gigs, and my experience/knowledge grew exponentially. 

Since then, I have worked on various Independent Feature films, Commercials, EPK content, Documentaries, Interviews, Podcasts, Micro Dramas, Short Films, TV pilots, and more sound-related material.

I have always been passionate about audio (music or film-related) and am beyond thankful to work in a field I greatly enjoy. 

Music, another strong passion of mine, is a hobby  I express through my band, Visual Static. I contribute to songwriting and have been the drummer since 2015.
